HUGE thanks to you for signing up for my email list at some point in the past several years. As of February 2019, I’m going to be moving all of the older lists to a service called “ConvertKit” (so you may notice a change in the address from which your CareeristaStyle email comes) — but more importantly I’m doing some serious thinking about how to make the newsletter AWESOME. I’d LOVE to hear from you guys — what do you want?
Right now we are offering:
- A daily digest with pictures and links to all of the day’s stories (it should come around 4PM every day)
- A weekly email that reviews the week in CareeristaStyle stories, as well as seasonally relevant stories
- An email newsletter JUST for sales and really “big” stories (like when we do a Hunt or a big story, for example, on Top 10 Brands for Comfortable Heels)
- An automatic email whenever there’s a new post on CareeristaStyleMoms
We’ve also got sporadic newsletters for plus-size workwear and Kat’s thoughts on blogging!
But I’d love to hear from you guys, and will open comments below — what newsletters do you LOVE? What are you looking for in a newsletter? Do you prefer ones with lots of pictures or just text?

I truly enjoy this blog and have recommended it to fellow travelers. Generally, the content is spot-on. Please do allow opt-outs for maternity and plus-size newsletters, since I want as few emails as possible, and I don’t want specialty emails that don’t apply. Weekly might actually be better, although I enjoyed getting it daily at first.
Your most useful features are things like practical and work-appropriate updo’s, the dreaded stockings question, dressy flats, and comfy heels. I found you for that sort of badly-needed content, especially where you presume all readers need to have a certain level of senior-level appropriateness to everything they were.
Yours is the only fashion blog I read – LOVE it. Keep up the great work!

I enjoy both the daily and weekly emails, but would like to see the format of the daily email changed to be easier to quickly read a snippet then click through if I want to read the whole article. They seem to be more focused on promoting a product, so that could stand out more.
Would also like to see petite clothing shown more.

I have learned a lot from your website and the emails, thank you! I would love some sort of Q & A format where we can pose questions on fashion and you can answer. I would love to see more on how clothes should fit properly.

Hello,
I am a plus size (24/26, 50’s) executive struggling with poor fabric choices and fit options. I end up paying a fortune for Misook at Nieman Marcus. The fit is outstanding there and fabric quality is also good. Where else can I go to get high quality, boardroom ready work attire?
Thanks in advance for any helpful advice you can offer.
